Why We Named It PANDAS Tracker — Our Story
It took our family eight years to get a diagnosis. When the answer finally came, the word was PANDAS.
Eight years of searching
Eight years of specialist appointments, emergency room visits, school crises, and incomplete records pieced together from memory across a dozen different providers. Eight years of a parent knowing something was neurologically wrong and fighting to be believed. Eight years before someone said the word PANDAS.
Why we built for every family on this road
We named the app after the word that ended our search. But we built it for every family on this road — whether your door is PANS, PANDAS, autoimmune encephalitis, or you are still looking for the right name. The structured clinical record we wish we had existed belongs to every family navigating this.
What we built and why it's built this way
PANDAS Tracker was built by a cybersecurity professional with a Juris Master in National Security and Privacy Law — a PANDAS parent who understood both the clinical problem and the data responsibility. The app is secure by design because the founder knew exactly what it would take to build it right.
